All three pens recently acquired by us were also imported by us and sold to a serious collector whose pen focus has shifted away from ballpoint models.  These Conway Stewart ballpoints represent the very best of British production from the mid 2000's.  Each is in perfect condition and comes with original boxes and papers.

Conway Stewart Churchill Ebonite Ballpoint - Stock No 110254
Description A limited edition Churchill Ebonite made in December 2005.  In near mint and flawless condition. Hallmarked 18 carat gold fittings.  With original Churchill box, papers, book of quotes and cigar. The pen carries serial number 201/300.  Manufactured December 2005.  Takes Parker style refills. An impressive and large pen.

Description A very limited edition Brunel ballpoint which was produced in very small numbers by Conway Stewart in order to test the overseas market.  Hallmarked 18 carat gold fittings.  In Classic Black and near mint condition.  Comes with original box and papers.  Manufactured October 2006. Serial number 11/058. Takes Parker style refills.

Conway Stewart Silver Duro Ballpoint - Stock No 110256
Description Silver Duro ballpoint in Classic Green overlay over sterling silver.  In near mint condition and seen little use.  Barrel and cap are both sterling silver over which the Classic Green translucent overlay has been applied.  Hallmarked.  Comes with original box and papers.  Manufactured February 2006. Serial number 472/015.  Takes Parker style refills.  A very substantial and impressive pen.

Description A perfect Conway Stewart set from the 1960s - probably 1963 to 1965.  Both in Mint condition. Fountain pen features squeeze converter with new sac.  Impossible to fault.  Pen features a Medium Conway 14 carat gold nib.  Clips on both carry the "CS" logo.

Conway Stewart Model 728 & matching pencil - Stock No 110104 & 110105
Description The 728 model was recorded as being produced as clipless in many colours but, rarely in mottled vulcanite.  This mottled vulcanite example is rare and in superb condiition.  The pen is fitted with a Conway Stewart 14 carat gold nib ground to a left hand stub.  There is no brassing on the pen and the vulcanite of both cap and barrel are in flawless condition.  The matching Duro-Point No 2R (ring-top) pencil is sold with the pen.  The pencil has a minor split in the top knob which has been professionally repaired.  Otherwise, it is in perfect mechanical condition.  The brass cone of the pencil has been re-plated.  Both pen and pencil made circa 1934 to 1936.

Conway Stewart Dinkie 570 - Stock No 110109
Description A spectacular translucent red dinkie ("Lumina") with hooded 14 carat gold Conway Stewart medium nib.  The pen has not been used.  The remnants of the "Medium" chalk  mark for nib size can still be seen. The second line of the imprint of the pen bears the inscription " Holder Foreign" indicating that the cap and barrel were of foreign manufacture - probably Italian.   Made in the late 1960s.  A mint gem for the discerning Conway Stewart collector.

Conway Stewart No 650 Manifold Pen - Stock No 110123
Description A rare Conway Stewart Manifold, a large pen made in 1935 in black vulcanite.  The Manifold pen was used to make copies with carbon paper and features a purposefully rigid nib to achieve this task. Features a 14 carat gold Conway Stewart No 5 Manifold nib. No brassing and showing good markings.  The flat top is typically inscribed "M".  In overall excellent condition.
